Role Description/Criteria

Aquinas College wishes to appoint a dynamic, suitably qualified Music teacher to the position of Instrumental Music Teacher – Clarinet. 

This is a FTE 0.2 position, Fixed Term for the 2025 school year. 

The successful applicant:

*Will have the ability to teach Woodwind - Clarinet
*Will be comfortable teaching Year 7 – 12 students including VCE students (Contemporary and Repertoire)
*Will have experience and capacity required to direct a Concert and/or Stage Band ensemble
*Will participate in school music events as required from time to time
*Will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children
*Will have excellent communication skills
*Will have the ability to work successfully within a team
*Will have a current WWCC and Police Check

VIT Registration would be an advantage.
