Vision for Instruction
‘The Vision for Instruction position statement is a crucial document which will support all ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ schools to deliver high-quality learning and teaching for all students’ (³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ principal).
By 2030, Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools (³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ) aims to become ‘the benchmark for excellence in teaching and learning, through a coherently integrated, academically competitive and distinctively Catholic educational offering’ (³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ 2030: Forming Lives to Enrich the World).
The Flourishing Learners position statement, Vision for Instruction, is a key document underpinning the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ 2030 strategic plan. Vision for Instruction has been crafted to communicate ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ’ preferred system-wide approach to achieving teaching and learning excellence. It is firmly grounded in the evidence of how students learn most effectively and efficiently, offering explicit guidance for ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ schools on instructional best practice.
Vision for Instruction was launched on Thursday 22 February 2024.
