THE POSITION

The Arts Program Coordinator plays a key role in developing the Arts at the College by supporting and promoting artistic skill development. They oversee the College’s arts program, and create opportunities for performance and arts expression within and beyond the school community by coordinating and increasing the profile of:

- the instrumental music program
- ensembles and choirs
- internal and external performing/visual arts events and performances
- the annual arts festival/house competition
- the school production
- any other performing/visual arts initiatives and productions

ABOUT YOU 

You are committed to the development and extension of artistic programs and skills, and can confidently and actively promote programs to all in the community. Your passion for music and/or the Arts will be evident in your achievements, and you can effectively manage responsibilities requiring a mix of creative, project and administrative skills. 

Essential:

• Experience leading and administering a broad Performing Arts Program, preferably within a school setting

Desirable:

• Post Graduate studies in Music or the Arts (or equivalent studies or experience)
• Experience in a school setting or similar Knowledge, experience and skills
• Knowledge and understanding of school music programs.

This position requires a current Police Check, Working with Children Check and drivers’ licence.
