The community at St Damian’s School, Bundoora, has celebrated the completion of a large-scale refurbishment project that has transformed the school.

Across three phases, the works included the creation of a specialist visual and performing arts facility, a new resource hub, STEM space, multipurpose space, canteen and refurbished classrooms to create flexible learning spaces and breakout areas that allow for different ways of teaching and collaborating.

‘Almost every aspect of our school has been touched by this transformation’, said Principal Rosanna Piccolo. ‘These new facilities provide our students with a learning environment that is in keeping with the 成人头条 Vision for Instruction, where every child is inspired and enabled to flourish and enrich the world. Our purpose is to nurture our students’ curiosity and creativity to inspire them to dream bigger and reach higher. This refurbishment signifies not only a physical transformation of our school facilities, but a significant investment in our students. It demonstrates what can be achieved when government, school systems, educators and the school community unite behind a common goal for the education and future success of our young people.’
