STUDENT COUNSELLOR/PSYCHOLOGIST
Part time [0.4-0.6FTE] commencing Term 1 2025
We are looking for an appropriately qualified and experienced counsellor or psychologist to join our wellbeing team, commencing beginning of 2025 school year.
Experience in engaging and providing psychological support to adolescents with diverse needs is essential, particularly in the context of the secondary school environment. Knowledge and experience in cognitive and educational assessments and the ability to support the implementation of recommendations is a smaller though important part of this role.
?? Psychologist applicants must have full registration with AHPRA, Psychology Board of Australia.
?? Counselling applicants accredited by the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) or Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) is desirable, but not essential
- All applicants must carry/obtain up to date Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
💬 Whilst the position description refers to a psychologist we will consider suitably qualified counsellors to fulfill the role as well. It is advertised as a 0.4-0.6FTE, the time fraction and days are negotiable.
📊 Remuneration As at 1 Jan 2025, annual FTE salary as per CEMEA 2022 Agreement
- Psychologist ES5 Cat B (10 weeks A/L) $101,935 - $112,528 + super
- Counsellor ES4 Cat B (10 weeks A/L) $85,801 - $97,730 + super
