Role Description/Criteria
Japanese Teaching Position
The school is seeking a teacher who is enthusiastic, dedicated, 听knowledgeable and passionate about teaching the Japanese language, to join our learning community for 2025 in a part time position (0.3 with a possibility of being a 0.4).
听
The position will commence on 28th January 2025 (12 month fixed contract). About the Role
The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively with others to develop and implement high quality and engaging teaching programs to cater for the diverse needs and learning styles of all children in the class.
The successful candidate will:
- have a strong commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Catholic Church
- have strong knowledge of the relevant curriculum area听in LOTE (Japanese)
- demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and form positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
- collaboratively plan and work in a team with flexibility, creativity, passion and enthusiasm
- be able to motivate and engage students in purposeful learning
- have a sound understanding of current educational practice
- have an ability to use data to improve student learning
- integrate a range of digital learning technologies
- demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children in accordance with Child Safe standards
Special Requirements
- VIT Registration or Provisional Registration to Teach (or in the process of obtaining it)
- Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to obtain the necessary qualifications
