The successful applicant will:
demonstrate a passion for working with children

demonstrate a capacity to work as an LSO supporting teaching staff, working collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement learning tasks to meet the needs of children with a range of learning difficulties
demonstrate a willingness and capacity to work with students with learning and/or social-emotional challenges, providing support to individuals or small groups being resourceful and using own initiative if required
possess a high level of patience and emotional maturity in order to manage students with significant levels of learning or behavioural challenges
demonstrate an understanding of the work of Catholic schools and a willingness to actively contribute to a range of school activities
be prepared to assist with toileting and other health needs
possess a deep understanding of positive behaviour management strategies and have experience in working with students with high behavioural needsThe successful applicant will be willing to be an integral part of a professional, collaborative team and vibrant school community.Ìý
