Role Description/Criteria
St. Joseph's Primary School is committed to fostering a culture of excellence in education
through well-established instructional practices, centred around the Science of Learning, the
principles of instruction and explicit instruction. We are dedicated to an evidence-informed
approach with substantial investments in professional development. Instructional coaching
to empower our teachers鈥� ability to deliver high-quality education will be an exciting and
driving factor for 2025.
To build our staffs instructional capacity, we offer extensive professional learning
opportunities both internally and externally. Our comprehensive approach ensures that all
teachers, regardless of experience, receive the ongoing support needed to enhance student
learning in a supportive, collegial environment. We implement several proven programs,
including MSL, Heggerty, The Writing Revolution, Core Knowledge units of work, and Ochre
Education.

VIT registered with a commitment to the Catholic ethos of our school
Accredited to teach in a Catholic school or demonstrate a willingness to achieve accreditation to teach Religion in a Catholic school.
