Role Description/Criteria

St Joseph’s Primary School is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Performing Arts teacher, with responsibility for teaching this subject from Prep to Year 6 . The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of relevant areas of the Victorian Curriculum and will be skilled in delivering high-quality lessons, inspiring students to reach their full potential in this subject.

The successful applicant will:

  • be an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who will be able to showcase the talents of our students.
  • provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in drama.
  • have exemplary learning and teaching skills with the capacity and desire to share this knowledge in a professional, collaborative and collegial way.
  • have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents and our community.
  • Have a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all children.
  • Hold a current VIT registration.
